daisy dukes

ridiculously cute. that is what i should have titled this post :) get ready world...ellis is headed to the soccer field...in style! i love it...or maybe i am just THRILLED to see her in something other than a tutu??? and let me tell you...it was NOT EASY to convince her to put on these "pants". she TRULY owns 0 pairs of shorts. for real. and when i picked these out at academy she said "oh mom...no, no, no...i am going to have a problem with those...i am not wearing any pants." so do you know what i had to resort to???

i told her they weren't regular shorts...they were daisy dukes like katy perry sings about in "bikinis on top" (how my kids request it for our dance parties)...it worked :)
