here she is...it was love at first sight!! she is a mix btwn her big sister and big brother :) all is wonderful...

easter time is finally here!!!

she has been waiting for it...Easter. it was the only frame of reference i could give ellis when she would ask how much longer we had to wait for emery :) i told her months ago...when Easter comes, so does your baby sister. she started seeing Easter goodies for sale, commercials on TV, talks of egg hunts at school, etc...she knew it was close. she has been counting the sleeps down. she knows how many sleeps till she is born and how many sleeps till she comes home. ellis is asleep right now...and when she wakes up in the morning, there will be 0 sleeps left!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! #1 & 2 will be coming to the hospital with my mom to meet #3 tomorrow :) she has $2 she found in eggs @ a hunt today that she plans on buying a balloon w/ for her baby sister. she already is the best big sister to her brother and will take her role as a big sister to her sister very seriously. she is sooooo sweet to beckett. sweeter than he deserves :)

today was their first Easter egg hunt...they will have 3 more if i am counting right! this is her pre-Emery Easter dress...cause you KNOW they have matching ones for Easter Sunday!!!!!!!

loving on her baby brother...he was SO not interested in the egg hunt. she gives him all of her candy anyways...so why work for it?

i will have my computer @ the hospital of course :) i think i would go NUTS w/ out it laying in a bed for 4 days !!! be on the look out for pictures of emery...

time to think about #3...

brandon was the best man in a wedding last night...the wedding of our wonderful friends, margaret and jeff!! their relationship started @ ellis' 1st b-day party...which was really a party for adults...w/ lots of alcohol and crawfish :) but that is beside the point... the wedding was GORGEOUS...an outdoor wedding and reception on the lake on her dad's property in lake jackson...perfect weather and a perfect bride and groom! SO. now that the wedding is behind us, i am free to concentrate on emery's impending arrival. did i mention that susie kept the kids ALL weekend so we could enjoy the wedding festivities to the fullest??? THANK YOU SO MUCH susie, philip, brad and emily :) staying in a quiet hotel...getting to be as lazy as i wanted...lovely.

today is sunday...i am home and brandon is off to pick up the kiddos. i miss those little monkeys :) i am spending the day washing baby clothes in yummy dreft, boiling bottles, and packing bags. it's about time right?? in ellis terms, 3 sleeps till emery is here w/ us!!!

i never posted pictures from beckett's REAL birthday...which was the 19th...here ya go!

his birthday happened to fall on our lazy day (friday)...so he got 2 powdered donuts for breakfast! his request. he had JUST woken up..

brandon gets home @ 11:30 on fridays...praise god. after beckett's nap, we headed to old mcdonalds farm for a birthday party...his friend henry was turning 2 :) here we are on the choo choo train...

he couldn't believe the deer weren't running from him...while feeding them he would say, "ooou wike dat deer?"...."mommy...deer wikes dat!" translation- you like that deer?

he has never met an animal he didn't like...

he is too young to really understand the game of football, but he is OBSESSED w/ this. he wants it out all of the time...

the people were from marsha's petting zoo...they were AWESOME...i highly recommend :)

beckett thinks EVERYTHING his sister does is the greatest, coolest thing ever. he often sees me taking pictures of her on the front porch...so when it is his turn, and i tell him photo session time, he RUNS for the front porch..can't get there fast enough. he won't take pictures anywhere else :) here he is hamming it up for me! how can you not love this kid? on his new trampoline...

here are some pics of ellis from the party...i thought i was in real trouble about a month ago when she came to me upset that she saw yellow on the invitation (the hair color)...i assured her there would be no yellow at the party. and she had no complaints the day of...SUCCESS! she is hilarious and insisted that she spend the afternoon before the party @ bebe's so that it would be a "surprise party".
