gymnastics finale

omg. i wish this was one of those posts where i am dyyyyying to show you how amazeballs my kid is. but it isn't. when i showed this video to brandon, he likened it to a paraplegic adult being trained on a balance beam for the first time. just watch. and do keep in mind that this was after 4 months of lessons. yes, $$ well spent.

beckett is officially on summer break...and ellis has only 9 days of school left!!! looking forward to not having a real schedule for a little while :) i love summertime!!!!!!!!!!

vegas!!!

here are just a few pictures from vegas. 95% of the pictures can't be shown without expressed written consent...needless to say, it was an insane 48 hours. like hangover (the movie) insane. though, real hangovers played a part too :)

a little background...went with 3 girls from high school (actually 2 are from elementary if we are counting!). 2 guy friends (also from high school) live out there and run a VIP service. they totally hooked us up and showed us vegas like we had never seen it. in 2 days we went to hyde, bank, nine, ghostbar and XS. phew. SO. MUCH. FUN.

carnival court. i will be posting a video of our precious time spent here as soon as i get the go ahead! this place was trashy, but in a totally amazing way. kinda like new orleans meets vegas. best music, BEST people watching...could have stayed here the entire night. but...we had places to be!

the star of the video can barely be seen in the pink neon pants pictured below. the couple next to her was doing it right there in broad daylight (i am sure of it!)....

our 3rd stop...hyde. this is where things started getting out of control. it was early...maybe 5 p.m.? i can't show any pictures from the rest of the night!! keep in mind we were out for another 12 hours after this. i am tired just thinking about it...
