emery bowls

who says an almost 2 year old wouldn't enjoy a bowling party?!?!  as usual, emery wanted to be like the big kids!!!  watch her as she picks up her own bowling ball, carries it over to the lane and tosses it...all while barefoot!!!!   doesn't get more WT than that :)  she did this over and over!  make sure you watch her celebrate at the end...totally copying what she had seen the big kids do!!!  

birthday craziness

beckett is 4!!!  i can't believe it...mainly because he still acts like he is 2!  i kid, i kid :)  he had a great birthday...i let him miss school and everything!  he chose cheeseburgers made by his dad for his birthday dinner...and got everything he wanted (which isn't a lot)...he is a simple boy :) so tough (never cries when hurt) but such a baby...so sweet and cute but can still drive me totally crazy.  he is a character and you can't help but love everything about him...

 4 years old.  he thinks he is BIG TIME right now that ellis is only one number bigger than him (only for another week!)

receiving a birthday phone call...

i  convinced the kids a joint (as in all 3) birthday party would be totally awesome :)  they went for it and decided they wanted to bowl!!!  so fun and so easy!!!  i will do a post on the party but here is a picture of what they wore...SO ADORABLE!!!!!!

beckett's birthday was last monday, emery's is this saturday and ellis' is next thursday.  this time of year is NUTS....shell houston open, easter, 3 birthdays, and tons more...can't fit it all in!!  love it though...

spring break 2012!!!

we were LUCKY enough to be invited back to my wonderful friend, lynn's, beach house for the 3rd?  spring break in a row.  SO MUCH FUN!!!  and the weather was perfection!  she was so sweet (crazy, maybe?) to let 6 moms and 13 kids invade her BEAUTIFUL place!!!  i have been friends with these girls since kindergarten!!!  so very cool.  the kids all got along and were so well behaved...contrary to what you may think, it was a vacay for the moms too :)  

they even brought crafts for the kids to do!!!  emery LOVED it....begging tiffany to do "more, more, more"...poor thing is so sheltered by not being in school yet :)

there was a small mishap with the sunscreen...a miscommunication really :) i know it looks REAL bad on beckett but it's just the picture, me thinks.  and ellis has a stripe...

mutton bustin'

rodeo time!!

we had so much fun @ the rodeo this year!!!  the kids are at such great ages for it :)  we went last friday when the weather was supposed to be HORRENDOUS.  well...it turned out to be the best day ever!  it never rained at all and the place was EMPTY.  yay for us!!!

an overachiever he is not

when beckett gets to school everyday, he is supposed to trace his name.  this obviously helps reinforce the correct way to write the letters, etc.  he has been doing it since the beginning of the year (september) and this is where we are:

i am just grateful that the teachers are kind enough to send these masterpieces home each and every day :)

ellis came home last night w/ a little letter she wrote inviting us to her book fair @ school.  all we could do was laugh.  yes, we are that immature :)

and finally, we (ok...bebe) potty trained EC yesterday.  we weren't sure how she would feel about it today....or if she would retain anything.  BUT i am proud to say she had only one accident all day (tee tee)...she even pooped on the potty twice.  her choice of panties (after i told her spiderman was not an option) was dora.  or "do do dora" as she calls her :)  i can see the light at the end of the diaper tunnel!!!
