emery catherine exnicious: record breaker

i didn't think it could be done...but i never should have doubted her. there's a new girl in town, and she has broken beckett's record of sleeping through the night @ 8 days old. sunday night emery slept from 10-4...i was impressed...BUT...monday night she slept for EIGHT STRAIGHT HOURS...11-7. holy shit. i was in shock...a happy shock...but still a little nervous because it just isn't normal. i know that. today happened to be ellis and beckett's 4 and 2 year old check ups...so i decided to ask dr. don what he thought about miss emery and her new trick. he asked how good she was eating...to which i replied "very"...he then said he wanted to weigh her to confirm. she is 7 lbs 6 oz...almost back to birth weight which is pretty good i guess because all he told me was "consider yourself one of the luckiest people in america" and sent us on our way. i know she isn't "sleeping through the night" yet...but this tells me we are well on our way...wish me luck tonight!
