back to school

summer is almost officially over for us :( we are off to austin for labor day weekend...hook em'!...and then tuesday the kids go back to school!!! well, ellis goes back to school... and beckett goes to school for the first time...which should go over really well. he is going to hate me for sure. but i am so ready to be back in a routine!! ellis is going to preschool 3 days a week and beckett will go to mother's day out 2 days a week (at the same school). ballet (ellis) has already started and kindermusic (beckett) starts next week...trying to keep us busy and out of the house. i am so over having to pick up my house 18 times a day.

anyways...back to school for me means getting to pick out fun gear for the kids...with their help, of course :) it's not my fault ellis missed the aisle @ target where they keep the sleeping beauty backpacks...here are a few cute things...

her backpack...cute right? not too obnoxious. the bad news is that i might have to exchange it for another...i was unaware that preschoolers needed the huge ass backpacks like big kids wear...found that out yesterday @ meet the teacher...oops! from gap.

here is a shirt bebe and i found for him. so perfect. he for sure won't want to go...but it has nothing to do with being too cool :)

ellis has too many absolutley adorable things for school...and pictures w/ out her in the actual outfit just won't do :) she is so lucky that bebe, susu, and her mama love to shop for her...i will try to post some cute ones as she wears them...i know...you are on the edge of your seat :)

meet the teacher was yesterday. my friend michelle snapped these (michael's mom)...i forgot my camera!!! beckett made the bottom pic. don't worry- i won't forget it on the first day of school!!
