the mess

my brother has a friend he lovingly calls "the mess". sometimes i use this little nickname for beckett. it is next to impossible to get as gross as he does on a daily basis. if he has pizza, he takes the slice and rubs it all over his shirt. same goes for everything he eats really. we were eating @ redstone after church today...beckett was a mess, per usual...and it reminded me that i hadn't posted a picture that i took of him a few weeks ago there with my phone. check it out:

i mean, really?

a chocolate chip cookie was to blame for both incidents. everyone just runs from him :) i know a lot of it is his age...but my little ellis was never like this. she has been a VERY clean eater since a very young age. she can have on a white dress and eat spaghetti...spotless. she did have trouble with syrup and pancakes...until recently. a few weeks ago, she told me she was finished with syrup..."she didn't want it getting her jammies dirty anymore". i love it.

beckett is so much like max :)
