we went to dallas for the TX-OU game on saturday...and even though the game didn't turn out to be exactly what we were hoping for, it was so good to be back :) i hadn't been since i was pregnant with ellis. brandon, on the other hand, hasn't missed one in 15 years or something like that. how lovely for him. we got to the state fair around 11, giving us 3 full hours to drink beer, eat weird food, and people watch. and my god there is great people watching!!! all people from oklahoma of course :)

they get to the game WAY before we do. we like to stay at the fair drinking beer until the last possible minute i guess??? you can see the dividing line in the picture above.
anyways...the day wasn't a total bust. the unicorns won...and ellis scored 3 goaaaaaaals!! of course, we weren't there to see it! parents of the year :)
