happy mother's day

happy mother's day to me!!! and my mom...and susie...and all the other moms i know. it is the hardest job ever...but also the most fun right???!!! i just need to keep repeating that last part to myself... :)

ellis had a mother's day program at school...it was of course so adorable. they sang a few songs, acted out a couple of nursery rhymes, and the teacher read a couple of things the kids had prepared earlier in the week...

here is ellis and lily. ellis said..."mommy, don't you think this bow on my dress is a little big?" there is no such thing as a bow too big. in fact, i can't believe the bow she is wearing in her hair is so tiny!!!

jace's (the one on the right) mom sent this to me...they are so cute...they call themselves the muskateers

here we are...the teacher is about to read aloud to the kids and moms the meal that ellis says i make the BEST...ellis recited the recipe for the teacher to write down...

eggo waffles. HOW EMBARASSING!

here is the tiny one on mother's day. she is sporting her "i heart mom" shirt that ellis lovingly passed down to her :) the pics are in black and white because her baby acne is in full effect. not so cute...but pls don't tell her i said so!!

oh...and she is smiling now...what better mother's day gift could you ask for?

and beckett. oh beckett...what to say about him...he made a bouquet out of paper at school...in the center of each flower was a chocolate kiss. he was SO nervous handing it to me (meaning he didn't want to hand it to me)that i would eat the chocolates and not give them to him...

here he is "kenneling up" as he calls it. he likes hanging out in here and wants me to lock it after he is in it. seriously.
