island hopping...bar to bar

so many bars, so little time!  5 nights isn't enough :(  almost every bar is on a different island...get on the boat and go...

we always kick things off at abaco inn bar...we know and love all of the bartenders...

abacos part I: the crew

we are just back from our abacos trip!!  so much fun!!  and sooo pretty.  i am still in shock every time i see the water!!  there were 15 people in our group...all fun people!!!  this was our 4th trip with them :)

hunter is their youngest son...allison is his girlfriend :)  they are sophomores @ ole miss!  brandon and i spent the week trying to keep up with them...how cute are they??

the blankenships, kate and eric.  two of the best people i have ever met!!!  we might buy the house next door to them in kingwood just so we can hang out with them more :)

tyler, the middle child...went to LSU...he is hilarious.  i spent some of my not so finest moments of the trip with him :)

casey and david.  casey is their daughter (LSU grad) and david went to alabama.  could we get a little more SEC representation here??  such a great couple...fun, fun, fun.  they promised me they would invite me to their wedding (they aren't engaged) :)

summer fun

summer= (mostly) fun so far!  swim team, gymnastics, pool time, play dates, etc.

pack, unpack, repack...

 just back from a SUPER FUN weekend with 7 of my college girlfriends and their husbands...no kids :)    sharon's parents have an AMAZING bay house in port o'connor...crazy that we were able to figure out a weekend that worked for all of us.  SO very thankful for all of the grandparents that kept the 14 children we have between all of us!!!  brandon's parents even earned bonus points for taking our kids to the beach for the weekend :)

i want a place here!!!  it is always cooler than houston and there is always a breeze....such a cute little town...and only a little over 2 hours from home!!!

we took the boat to sunday beach where we parked all day.  tons of boats anchor and have one big party :)  it was here that i rediscovered my strong ability to shotgun a beer!!

now time to unpack us...and the kids...and then repack us and the kids!!  they are off to bebe and bo's and we are off to the abacos.  thrilling :)
