it's been a BIG HUGE week for the boy

the kids spent the night at my parents on friday night...when we went to pick them up in kingwood saturday morning, beckett literally got on his bike and took off- WITHOUT training wheels.  bo had removed the training wheels that morning...minutes before we arrived.  it was hilarious.  ellis, being the competitive sister that she is, said screw that...and got on her bike and took off.  beckett still gets bragging rights that he learned to ride without training wheels first!

and then today, beckett made swim team!!  i am SO proud of him..he was very nervous about the whole thing...trying out in the big huge pool in front of people.  but he was awesome and did it!!  he had to get across in under 2 minutes...it took him less than one!  did i mention how proud i am of him??

again...running way behind on posting!  what's new?!?!  my kids have their first cousin!!!  super duper  exciting since she lives ON OUR STREET!  the kids ask to bike down to her house everyday.  lucky for emily, i have only let them do so once :)  here are emery and beckett meeting her in the hospital :)

i have pictures of ellis meeting her @ their house that i need to download.  she was in school this friday morning :(

spring break...WAY LATE

playing catch up!!  we had a chill spring break...stayed in town and just had fun!  we kicked it off with a crazy night in the neighborhood.  emery ended up having her very first sleepover!!  so fun :)

 we went to the houston rodeo during the week too...kids loved it as usual

i finally stepped in to help.  we would have been there ALL day :)

 emery's first mani/pedi!  to say she loved it would be an understatement!

the princess turns 3!

we celebrated emery's big day with a crawfish boil at susu & nish's house!  princess is what she wanted and princess is what susu got for her :) emery was thrilled!!!!

then nish decided to give emery her first lesson in peeling crawfish!

look at the crawfish juice running down her arm...she has cajun blood in her for sure...ellis would have NEVER!!!!!!

and the easter bunny came the next morning...emery's REAL birthday!!

they look like total bums right???  cracks me up.  emery found the most eggs...beckett found one :)
