vegas baby!!!

i am headed to the airport in 15 minutes for a girls trip to vegas!!! FUN!!!  i am just a teensy excited :)  i have at least 20 outfits packed for only 3 days.  it will be a quick trip but you should see the list of notes i have left for my helpers who are making this trip happen for me (bebe, brandon and patty).  3 kids fed and dressed, 2 lunches made, 2 school drop offs and pick ups,  swim team, swim lessons, parent tea...you get the idea!!!!!!  craziness!!!

and yes...ellis is on swim team!!  we are loving it...

the only thing ellis really asked for on her birthday was to go to build-a-bear.  no problem...even though i find that place so hilarious.  she brought a couple of girlfriends with her...SO MUCH FUN!!  they acted like they owned that mall!!!

it is so fun to see her laying out with her friends (even if it was only just for a second)...totally reminds me of being with my friends in middle school and high school :)

such a fun, girly day.  5 and 6 year old girls are like a dream...i loved hanging out with them :)

other than keg stands, here is a tiny bit of what we have been up to...

took the kids (by myself) to their 2, 4, and 6 year check-ups.  not awesome.

gymnastics.  oh what a difference a year makes.  he was a terror last year and now he actually listens and tries a little :)  emery plays in the bathroom, talks to strangers, tries to sneak into class, and just disobeys me in general...

swim lessons.  ellis is in lessons (ESA) to prepare for swim team.  i still can't believe i am voluntarily signing up for something SO early on saturday mornings.  eeek.  she loves it though...

ellis had her first mexican restaurant serenade on her birthday....

we have a low key weekend planned which is just what i need!!  adult field day did a number on me :)

it was adult field day and it was AWESOME!!!  teams of 6...we had an all girl team because 3 husbands ended up going out of town (including mine).  we were the desperate housewives and we kicked ass.  the best part?  it was a fundraiser for fall creek elementary!!!  gotta love that :)

Easter

we had a fab Easter weekend...ellis turned 6 on thursday...good friday she celebrated with some girlfriends (no school!) and we all went to a crawfish boil that night...a fish fry saturday night and of course Easter on sunday.  whew.

those were from my iphone...so these are a little out of order...more of egg dying.  emery was eating them faster than we could dye them.  and beckett was breaking them.  i think out of 12 eggs we had 3 usable ones???  bebe saved the day and brought over 2 dozen more!
