rainy days

no pool. no playground. not even a trip to target. if you have ever tried to get three kids (one in an infant seat) across a parking lot in the rain, you know why...or i am sure you can imagine!! we are stuck indoors. in our house. ALL DAY LONG. i have to get creative :) here is one of our activities...

ellis and i played beauty shop while beckett played in my bathtub w/ bubbles and kitchen utensils. good times. as you can see...we were playing with the straightener...

long straight locks...and she had a new sassy attitude to match her new sassy hair. the necklace was her idea...

and you'll never guess who wanted in on the beauty shop action when he was out of the bath...

two of emery's bffs came over and "swam" last week :) how cute are they all dressed up in their swim costumes?!? emery & caroline, the little gal next to emery, share the same birthday...they are kinda like twins except emery is twice her size...or at least her legs are!
that is jordan and charlie playing in the background :) bebe had my other kids that morning...ahhh...taking care of only one child...that can't speak or move...NICE.

within 2 minutes of arriving home from our trip to the abacos, beckett got a bloody nose. he gets at least one a week...most of the time he doesn't even know he has one...he falls and walks into walls that much. i am pretty sure ellis has NEVER had one.

i just can't get enough...

i take a million pictures of emery everyday. ok...maybe not a million. but a lot :)

people say there are never any pictures of the third child. i assume this is because there is no time...or because it's the third time around and just not as exciting?? this is SO not the case is our house :) emery is a star!!!

beckett got a haircut today...and the stylist used a hair dryer on him. not a good look :)

happy father's day!!! my dad and brandon's dad were both out of the country for the big day :( so brandon got all of the attention. everyone says their husband is THE BEST DAD EVER. i say it too. he handles 3 kids like a pro...he doesn't freak out even for a second when i leave the house for the entire day or night (or longer!). never makes me feel guilty about going out with friends. helps me SO much...and did i mention cooks dinner for us every night? yeah...i have it pretty good :)

engaged!

brandon's brother, brad, and emily got engaged in the bahamas...fun, fun, fun!!! they are thinking destination wedding...next summer sometime. she is lots of fun and SO sweet and thoughtful. we are thrilled for her to be a part of the family :)

he bought the ring in the bahamas...so this dolphin (or shark?) ring has since been replaced!
my kids think aunt emily is pretty fabulous too :) congrats again y'all!

bahamas then mexico (basically!)...too much fun. but i am thrilled to be staying put for a while :)

good news...

my friend, cynthia, created two albums for the wedding weekend...one that is NOT for the general public to view and another that is user friendly :) i only noticed the bad one and attempted to pull pictures from it...3 out of 93. hilarious. here are some more pictures...and to quote cynthia: how did we manage to get our drink on when it appears ALL we did for the entire night was pose for the camera?!?!

this was actually @ the rehearsal dinner. the bride said tons of girls would be wearing cowboy boots with their dresses. i am pretty sure i was the only one :)
